JCP Marine is well known for its innovation and constant desire to be at the forefront of new developments in the marine industry. The first company to have accredited CDI inspectors in Asia, the first to introduce ultrasonic hatch cover testing equipment and the first to offer management and benchmarking assessments for ship managers and operators. This entrepreneurial spirit was recognised by being shortlisted as finalists in the British Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in 2004 and 2006, winning the award outright in 2004.
